Lessons We Learn From Nature

I have been fortunate to have a lot of great teachers in my life, but I’m not sure any has been as wise or informative as nature. Here are some lessons that have been resonating with me lately from nature:

  • Change is a constant

  • Letting go can be beautiful

  • Beauty comes in all shapes, colors, and sizes

  • Mighty things can come from small things

  • Everything has its season

  • Nothing stays the same forever

  • Growth may go unnoticed, but it doesn’t mean it isn’t happening

  • Life and death are inevitable cycles

  • Moments of beauty may be short and sweet

  • Complexity is often not needed for growth, simplicity often gets the job done

  • Taking things away and cutting things out can lead to necessary and fruitful growth

  • Silence is still a form of communication and quite a powerful one

  • Embracing your part contributes to a beautiful whole

  • There’s beauty in simplicity
